A Marketing/Communications executive, Mark Augustin honed his strategic planning and marketing expertise with Colgate-Palmolive and American Express before moving agency side with FCB and J. Walter Thompson. His Executive experience includes VP Marketing for Sony Music and VP Marketing/Sales for the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. He understands and appreciates the pressure that senior leaders face and the importance of having an unbiased, supportive resource to help find clarity and identify action to achieve results.
Mark built a consulting practice focused on strategic/branding projects for a wide range of clients including; entertainment, education, telecommunications, financial services and packaged goods. This breadth and depth of industry experience allows him to quickly relate to a wide variety of challenges. In addition, his skills in collaboration and facilitation create an open/honest forum for insight generation. Mark attained his graduate level Executive Coaching Certification at Royal Roads University and subsequently achieved the International Coach Federation designation of Professional Certified Coach (PCC) - coaching to their rigorous standards of professional competencies and Code of Ethics. Mark blends humour with sharp perception getting at core issues with speed while providing support. His high level of abstract reasoning helps reveal patterns in information to get at the heart of challenges and unlock options for action. Mark has built a personal and professional reputation for being authentic and positive with a natural ability to build trusting relationships. A community volunteer for over 20 years, Mark was President of the Richmond Hill Hockey Association for 6 years. This allowed him to give back to his community by helping create a development-based, positive and safe environment for all players, parents and volunteers. |
