Brenda Augustin brings 30 years of HR experience in food retail, manufacturing, banking, consulting and healthcare. Her areas of focus have included leadership and organizational development, talent strategies and learning programs, organizational design and change management.
In her most recent role as Director, Human Resources with Johnson & Johnson Inc., she was a trusted business partner to leaders in the pharmaceutical and medical devices companies, and led a variety of learning and talent management projects across the Canadian J&J organization. As a Senior Consultant with the CIBC Leadership Center, she honed her skills in the design and delivery of leadership programs that impact both culture and results. Brenda completed her certification as an Executive Coach (CEC) through Royal Roads University. A Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation, she coaches according to their Core Competencies and Code of Ethics. Brenda also is a Certified Human Resources Leader with the HR Professionals Association. As a coach, Brenda is both optimistic and challenging. Her experience across a wide variety of businesses allows her to quickly track complex situations and make connections to the broader system the leader is operating within. She sees coaching as an antidote to the busyness that can keep leaders from changing their behaviour and reaching their full potential, especially in times of change. |
